The traditional ceramic vases in the shape of a dark brown's head so famous in Sicily that they became, in time, one of the representative symbols of the island. However, the singular shape of the Moor's Heads (or "graste" in Sicilian dialect) derives from a dark legend set in Palermo, a legend that not everyone knows.
