Traditionally, Moor's Heads adorn the balconies of homes and often appear as a decorative element in Sicilian living rooms. However, the singular shape of the Moor's Heads (or "graste" in Sicilian dialect) derives from a dark legend set in Palermo, a legend that not everyone knows.
